Summit Background

The Chinese auto market is currently the largest in the world. While car networking technology is in its development stage, it offers enormous potential within the automotive industry. Chinese consumers' use and demand for smart services that utilize the Internet of Things, through car networking navigation, infotainment services, and ADAS, rate as significantly above the global average. These preferences will facilitate large-scale development in the Chinese telematics sector.

Globally, the telematics market is expected to exceed $140 billion by 2022, from an estimated $26 billion in 2015, a CAGR of 28.5% over the course of 2016-2022, according to a recent report. In China, it is estimated that the value of the telematics market has reached 266 billion yuan in 2017, and will grow at a 15% CAGR in the near future, to exceed 500 billion yuan by 2021.

In accordance with its support for innovation in the automotive industry, Duxes will host the 5th China Telematics and Connected Vehicles Summit 2018, which will take place on May 23-24 in Beijing. The event will bring together industry leaders, experts, and policymakers to share experiences and opinions on developments related to telematics and connected vehicles, offering a unique platform for participants to familiarize themselves with the current business landscape for telematics in China.
